Hervé arrived this morning and finishes 6th of the Transat 6.50 Charentes-Maritime BAHIA...His first impressions!

Hervé will arrive tomorrow morning in Bahia, after Michel Mirabel, the winner of the first leg. At 21:00, 5 series were already in.

The first prototype passed the Cap Verde Island this morning. Hervé should reach them tonight.

As nearly all the boat has arrived, Hervé gave us his impressions of this first leg of the race

Friday 5th october

Hervé arrived in 5th position! WELL DONE!

Thursday 4th october

Yannick Bestaven arrived yesterday nigth at 20H26. Michel Mirabel, the first of the series, ia arriving now at 17:00. Will Hervé finish 6th or 5th? He is at this moment 5th at 50 miles from Puerto Calero. His arrival is scheduled in about 8 hours.

During the prologue, with wonderful conditions (blue sky, wind force 4) Children Action finished 13th.

60 boats (amongst them 26 one design) will finally take the start of the Transat 6.50 next Saturday at 15:33. Thus, the French Maritime authorities have accepted to extend by 5 the numbers of participants.

Saturday 16 .6.2001:

14th place for Children Action at the Mini-Fastnet.

The last 48 hours of the race were really difficult.

 

Friday 15.6.2001:

The winner of the Mini-Fastnet 2001 was Karen Liquid who crossed the line at 10:15 this morning.

Hervé and Nick should arrive during the night but the conditions are actually very though!

Sunday 10.6.2001:

The Mini-Fastnet started today. The boat is repaired and the pre-race of Saturday went fine.

Good news for Hervé's selection to enter the 2001 mini-transat.

Children Action arrived in La Trinité to enter the Challenge Mini on the 20 to the 22 april.

Children Action finished the races Friday and Saturday.

6 decembre 2000 : La Mini-Barcelona
Children Action finit 3ème des bateaux de séries lors de la Mini-Barcelona ! Cliquez ici pour lire le détail de l’exploit.
22 juillet 2000 : La qualification
Hervé a terminé la 1ère étape de sa qualification, soit 1000 milles en solitaire ! Il aura mis 10 jours pour aller contourner les deux points imposés par la classe, soit le bateau phare de Connigbeg au sud de l’Irlande et l’Ile de Ré, vers la Rochelle. Résumé et Photos.
6 au 9 juillet 2000
Hervé participe à la Solo Chrono à Lorient.
La Solo Chrono est un nouveau type d’épreuve dont l’idee est de faire le meilleur chrono en solitaire sur un parcours imposé (soit le tour de l’Ile de Groix) où chacun décide de ses heures de départ avec un nombre de tentatives illimitées.
L’objectif d’Hervé est plutôt axé sur la prise en main du bateau, sachant qu’il n’a encore jamais navigué dessus, et il souhaite pouvoir effectuer deux parcours par journée de régate.

1er mai 2000
Ca y est, Hervé a dit oui et a acheté (sans l’avoir même vu) le bateau sur lequel il va faire la Mini-Transat. Il était en effet difficile de se rendre en Guadeloupe pour aller voir l’état du bateau, et comme il s’agit d’un bateau de série, il faut espérer que son état soit conforme aux dires de l’ancien propriétaire, Yann Jameson. En tout cas, le bateau a effectué de bons résultats lors des dernières Mini-Transat, avec a la clé une 4ème place du classement de série.
