Saturday 16.6.2001: 14th place for Children Action

Hervé and Nick finally arrived this Saturday at 10:15. The last option chosen was good because during the last 48 hours, they climb up to the 14th place. Well done!

"It's worse and worse..." this is what Hervé said at the arrival. "I only hope that the Mini-Transat, which will start the 22 september, will be more pleasant than the last two races".

The last two days where really though. Waves of 5 meters (18 feets) , wind force 7-8, 3 reefs and stormgib (the smallest headsail). It was in fact the first time that Hervé sailed in such conditions.

Monday morning, Hervé and Nick will be at their desk in London. They will soon write their impressions on this website. They couldn't film the Fastnet as they passed it during the night.This is a shame as we really liked the video of Conningbeg!
