MURIEL
|
It's
all her fault !!!
If Hervé had not met Muriel, perhaps he would
not have sailed at all. Muriel began sailing at 14,
and then did a lot of sailing courses and became a coach
at the Glenans (the most famous French school for sailing).
She prefers cruising but still likes to race.Without
the support of Muriel, Hervé's project would
still be a crazy dream.
Muriel has to take care of the small and tiring crew
of two, while Hervé sails on board of Children
Action. And after some races, it's not always Hervé
who is the most tired..
She
also wrote all the news on this website, and will keep
it updated.

ROBIN
and JULIE
|
Even
if they are quite young (Robin is born on the 27th January
1998 and Julie the 1st March 2000) they already have sailed
quite a lot. They love to take long naps on the boat and
listen to the sound of the waves through the hull. And
they know all about the winch and the helm. Hervé
will miss them so much that he nicknamed his two autopilots
« Robin » and« Julie » ! |
LAURENT
|
This
is Mr Mac, the designer of this website. He lived for
a long time in Paris but his hear is in Brittany; he
also introduced Hervé to the UNCL (Union Nationale
pour la Course au Large), where he was a member of the
executive comittee. Owner of a red Toucan on the Geneva
lake with Barthelemy, he is one of the closest counsels
of Hervé.

BARTHELEMY
|
If
you see, close to Children Action, a sailor wearing
a lot of clothes, it can only be Barthélémy.
However, even if he's often cold, he cannot resist the
temptation of going sailing in Brittany or in the Solent
all year round. He was one of the swiss crew for the
Tour de France à la voile and he now owns with
Laurent, the red Toucan based on Lake Geneva. With him,
no stone is left unturned..
His
other passion is photography. Some of the nicest pictures
of Children Action on this website are his.

TATOU
|
If
you cannot unscrew a shakle, it's Tatou's fault. Interior
designer, he has the strongest fingers you have never
encountered. He was the first crew of Herve on the Ventilo
20 on Lake Geneva. He is of course the handyman of the
team.

PHILIPPE
|
Twice
European Champion in Formula 20 (catamaran), winner of
the Bol d'Or scratch on Khamsin, he his for sure the one
with the best results in the team. He is an excellent
racer, and the best one to trim the sails and for tactics.
Co-skipper during the Mini-Barcelona, the 3rd place is
in great part his. |
DENIS
|
Mister
Communication. Full of energy, he does at least 4 projects
at the same time. He gave Hervé a lot of tips reguarding
the relations with the press and the television. He also
filmed the images relating the story of Hervé. |
THE
FAMILY  
|
Stupefaction.
This was the reaction of Hervé's family when he
told them about his project of crossing the Atlantic singlehanded
. Of course, they are now the n°1 fans. |
